A few drops to bless the rage,
to bless this stage of cracking through the egg.
A few drops to find the candle in the blackout,
to restore the gentle eyes of my beloved.
A few drops to help dust the bones
of this dead thing that follows me around,
this rotting thing that carries the load of my dread.
A few drops to ease the way to healing,
to find the shellfish under the sandy rock
and set it free back in the waters.
