“WHAT IS” (CANADA)
A beautiful and moving poem, built on rhetorical questions that reveal to readers the painful and tormented soul of the author in the long and eternal but equally limited path of life. The verses gain strength and guide towards change and transformation, especially of the human being. And this is how affliction is born like a wild gem, while a daughter looks with the clear eyes of the soul at a person as dear as her mother who transforms and becomes more fragile. A daughter who despite everything feels she has the privilege of loving her mother, of being her sun and her star. As the days go by, both understand where this slow but unstoppable journey leads, with the awareness that the end is not far away and with the daughter’s wish that this great love accompanies her mother on a serene journey towards the last door.
