When This We Feel

Our strength giving away

when love is undermined,

diluted like a ghost is from its human counterpart –

diluted yolk of a backbone

striving.

When battling the heat of dullness rising

When battling the waters that cry

for the breath of a sinking dream.

And spheres crack wide

laying exposed the true, the awful intent

of footsteps travelled . . .
